Terms of Service

By creating an account or using SahihiMinds, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. Platform description

SahihiMinds is an online mentorship marketplace operated by Sahihi Media in Kenya. We connect mentees with mentors. We are a platform — we do not provide mentorship directly and are not responsible for the quality of individual mentoring relationships.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use SahihiMinds. By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement. Accounts found to belong to minors will be suspended.

3. Account responsibilities

• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Do not share your login credentials.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access at admin@sahihimedia.co.ke.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Harass, abuse, threaten, or discriminate against any user
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Solicit money, payments, or gifts from other users
• Share pornographic, violent, or illegal content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or attack the platform
• Create multiple accounts to evade bans or suspensions
• Use the platform for commercial solicitation without permission

5. Mentor conduct

Mentors agree to: provide genuine guidance in good faith; maintain professional boundaries; not request payment outside the platform; and complete sessions they have scheduled unless emergency circumstances arise.

6. Free plan and subscription

The Free plan allows mentors up to 3 active mentees at no cost. A Pro subscription (pricing TBC) will allow unlimited mentees and additional features. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

7. Content ownership

You retain ownership of content you post (messages, profile text, photos). By posting, you grant SahihiMinds a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and display your content for platform operation purposes. We will never use your personal content in advertising without explicit written consent.

8. Moderation and suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our sole discretion. We will notify you by email unless the violation involves illegal activity. You may appeal a suspension by emailing admin@sahihimedia.co.ke.

9. Limitation of liability

SahihiMinds is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by Kenyan law, we are not liable for: outcomes of mentorship relationships; loss of data; interruption of service; or indirect/consequential damages. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months (or KES 1,000 if you have paid nothing).

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email 14 days before they take effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
